Puffin. Numbered at the top left: 30. At the top right the Latin name. On the album sheet a four-line annotation in French. Part of the third album with drawings of birds. Fifth of twelve albums with drawings of animals, birds and plants known around 1600, made on commission of Emperor Rudolf II. With explanation in Dutch, Latin and French.
