About this work

Wing panel of an altarpiece. On the inner side of the left wing panel the Circumcision. A priest performs the circumcision in the temple under a canopy, with Mary and Joseph looking on to the left. In the foreground two doves in a cage. On the outer side John the Baptist standing full-length in a landscape, holding the Lamb of God with a banner under his arm. In the distance the baptism of Christ. With integrated frame. See for the right panel SK-A-1599-2.
