About this work

Wing panel of an altarpiece. On the inner side of the right wing panel the Adoration of the Shepherds, with angels looking down from heaven. On the outer side six kneeling noblemen in armor are portrayed, their coats of arms hanging above them on the branch of a tree. From left to right: Jan Baptist van Taxis, a Lord of Ensse, Tiete van Cammingha, Jarich van Liauckema, Jacob van Claerhout and a Lord of Boisot. On the ground before them lie a helmet, gloves and a shield. With integrated frame. See for the left panel SK-A-1599-1.
