Scenes from the life of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary (1207-31). To the left in the background: Louis entrusts Elizabeth to his brother-in-law before his departure for the Holy Land. To the left in the foreground: Elizabeth, after the death of Louis in 1227 expelled from the Wartburg, receives a wounded man in the hospital founded by her in Marburg and nurses the sick. To the right Elizabeth on her deathbed assisted by Master Conrad and a praying nun. Two angels carry her soul to heaven. Above the saint is buried by two Franciscan monks. Inside of the right panel, part of two panels, painted on both sides with scenes from the life of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary (1207-31) and the Saint Elizabeth Flood 18-19 November 1421 (SK-A-3145/46 en SK-A-3147A/B).
