A successful man like De Flines enjoyed worldly Fame, depicted here with a globe symbolizing its ubiquity. The statuette in her hand and the children with the laurel wreath and palm branch in the foreground refer to Victory, which brings glory. The young Hercules on the right represents Courage. The woman floating above proclaims the good fame.
