About this work

The left wing of a triptych with on the inside the likeness of the rich man and the poor Lazarus. Interior of a palace where the rich man sits at a banquet with friends. In a loggia a group of four musicians plays. A servant pours wine, in the foreground stands a wine cooler. A servant raises his hand against Lazarus who begs at the entrance. In the background two angels appear in a cloud to take the soul of the deceased Lazarus. On the outside of the panel a terrace with statues of Saint Peter and of Mary with child. Pendant of SK-A-3915. Verso a grisaille. With integrated frame.
