About this work

Gilded, reeded frame with reverse profile. The frame has a low, straight back and between two reeded ridges a wide border where reeded parts of 5-10 cm alternate with smooth pieces of approx. 7 cm. Inside the frame has a smooth, glossy, concave bottom in which in the corners and the centers of rails and stiles simple flower and leaf shapes are engraved. Inside the frame has a high border consisting of a glossy bead between reeded steps.
