About this work

Jacquard woven ribbon with flora and botanical design of large red and pink flower with groups of smaller peach and light purple flowers surrounded by green and brown leaves on white ground; bouquets connected by green and brown vines with thorns and leaves; narrow band in gold along edges. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Graditude Train from France.
