Jacquard woven ribbon with floral design composed of bouquets of polychrome flowers on black ground surrounded by green leaves; bouquets are grouped in stylized brown colored vases and trailing ribbons; narrow gold band along edge with brown edging. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Graditude Train from France.
