Jacquard woven ribbon with abstract floral design of stylized polychrome flowers on blue ground; decorative band of blue outlined with gold bands along edges with interior motif of repeating abstract polychrome chain design. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Gratitude Train from France.
