About this work
Bell-shaped porcelain cup, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, black and gold. On the exterior two large cartouches with two women in an interior or an enclosed garden; between them two smaller cartouches with hens and a rooster in a landscape; on either side of these a medallion with a landscape; between the cartouches scrolling foliage; on the base a branch of flowers; on the inner rim a band with floral scrolls. Two cracks and a chip in the rim. Famille rose.
