About this work

Porcelain dish with round body, painted in enamel colours in red, green, yellow and black. On the flat surface in the centre a flower rosette with around it a band with scrollwork; from this band four rocks with peony and fruit branches. The body with a narrow and a broad band with flower scrolls; the inner rim with a band with scrollwork. The outer body with four flower branches. Some cracks and chips in the rim. A groove in the foot ring. Famille verte. Southern Chinese kiln.
