About this work

Saucer of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. The flat is covered with flower branches and butterflies against a black-spotted green background. Here cut out a medallion with two shishi (lion-dog) and one of the treasures (coin). This medallion is surrounded by six medallions with alternating a flower basket or a shishi in a landscape. On the rim lacework with here cut out differently shaped cartouches with alternating a butterfly, flowering plant or chilong (hornless dragon). The back with three times a flower branch. Marked on the underside with a mushroom (lingzhi) in a double circle. Famille verte.
