Porcelain bowl with ribbed wall and lobed rim, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black, and gold. On the flat center, a medallion with plum blossoms and seashells above swirling waves; the wall divided into eight compartments, each with the same decoration on the opposite side: lotus scrolls cut out against a red ground, blooming trees with bird and butterfly, a landscape in gold against a bleu poudré (powder blue) ground, and lucky symbols (tripod, vase with peacock feathers, scrolls, books, scepter, castanets); the back with three flower branches and three twigs; on the underside, a double circle. Rim chipped. Famille verte.
