About this work

Porcelain plate, painted on the glaze in blue, red, black, and gold. On the flat surface, a crowned coat of arms with two stars, a chevron, and a crescent moon cut out against a blue background; the crest is a putto under a crown with pearls; around the coat of arms a shell motif and leafy tendrils. On the wall, a band with floral tendrils; the rim with four flower branches (peony). Armorial porcelain with enamel colors.
