Saucer with a monogram in a crest in a medallion

Porcelain plate with a short, straight, ribbed wall and an acanthus-shaped rim, painted in enamel colors on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black, and gold. On the center of the plate the monogram 'JM' in a crowned cartouche with a shell motif, lacework, and floral sprigs; around the cartouche and on the wall, lacework with four small and four large cut-out cartouches containing floral sprigs. The underside of the plate is unglazed. A crack and two chips in the wall of the plate. European representation in enamel colors.
