Cup with handle with the arms of the families Gordon and Forbes

Porcelain cup with a stepped wall and scalloped rim, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black and gold. On the wall the coat of arms of the Gordon and Forbes families. The coat of arms is divided into four quarters with Gordon in 1st and 4th with three boar's heads against a blue background; 2nd and 3rd Forbes with three heads on a light blue background. The crest is an arm with a sword and the motto 'CORDE MANUQUE'. On the inner rim a spearhead border. On either side of the coat of arms a cartouche with a landscape. The cup was previously broken.
