About this work

Bell-shaped porcelain bowl, painted on the glaze in blue, red, black, and gold. On the outer wall, twice a crowned coat of arms with two stars, a chevron, and a half-moon cut out in a blue background; the crest is a putto under a crown with pearls; around the coat of arms a shell motif and leafy tendrils. Between the coats of arms, branches of flowers (peony). On the bottom, an orchid; the inner rim with floral tendrils. Coat of arms porcelain with enamel colors.
