About this work
Egg-shaped porcelain tea caddy, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, purple, black and gold. On the body twice the crowned monogram S.I.B. surrounded by flower scrolls and flanked by putti. Between the monograms flower sprays. Around the foot a band with scrollwork in relief. Around the shoulder a decorative band. The lid with a lid knob in the form of a piece of fruit, two flower sprays and a decorative band around the rim. Coat of arms porcelain in enamel colours.
