About this work
Egg-shaped porcelain tea caddy, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, purple, black, and gold. On the body, twice the crowned monogram S.I.B. surrounded by floral scrolls and flanked by putti. Between the monograms, flowering branches. Around the foot, a band with scrollwork in relief. Around the shoulder, a decorative band. Armorial porcelain with enamel colors.
