Porcelain plate, painted on the glaze in black and gold. Under a dome on the center is depicted a bridal couple. They stand before an altar with two doves, symbols of marital fidelity. The bridal couple receives a wreath from Juno, the goddess of marriage. Other goddesses and dancers are depicted around them. On the dome is the inscription: 'SEMPER AMOR PRO TE FIRMISSIMUS ATQUE FIDELIS', forever shall my love for you be very firm and faithful. In the foreground, tritons and Neptune in the waves. On the left and right above the columns are shields bearing the coats of arms of Nicolaas Geelvinck and his wife Johanna Jacoba Graafland. The rim features two decorative bands.
