Milk jug with flower basket and water landscape in panels

Small milk jug of porcelain with pear-shaped body, triangular spout from the rim and C-shaped handle, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze red, green, black and gold. On the rim of the jug, the rim of the lid and the lid knob a Japanese decorative band in underglaze blue. In the Netherlands a decoration added in enamels. On the belly a wide decorative band with hatching with therein cut out four cartouches with alternately a river landscape with a man in a boat and a flower basket with two insects; on the rim scrollwork. The lid with the same decoration. Overdecorated (Amsterdam bont).
