Ovoid tea caddy with flower basket and water landscape in panels

Small porcelain tea caddy with egg-shaped body and spreading foot with a modeled band with scrollwork, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in red, green, black and gold. On the shoulder a Japanese decorative band in underglaze blue. In the Netherlands a decoration added in enamel colors. On the belly a broad decorative band with hatching and in it four cut-out cartouches with alternating a river landscape with a man in a boat and a flower basket with two insects; around the shoulder scrollwork. Overdecorated (Amsterdam bont).
