About this work

Ribbed lidded jar of porcelain with lobed lid rim, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze red, green, yellow, black and gold. On the wall two bouquets with flowers, the stems tied together in a holder; around the foot a band with scrollwork; on the shoulder compartments alternately covered with red with floral scrolls in reserve and light red with floral scrolls in gold; on the neck light red with lotus scrolls in gold. Lid with the same decoration; around the knob a band with loose flowers and diamond with swastika in reserve against a red ground. Famille verte.
