About this work

Ribbed porcelain lidded jar with lobed lid rim, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze red, green, yellow, black, and gold. On the body two bouquets of flowers, stems tied together in a holder; around the foot a band with scrollwork; on the shoulder panels alternately covered with red with floral scrolls in reserve and light red with floral scrolls in gold; on the neck light red with lotus scrolls in gold. Famille verte.
