About this work

Porcelain saucer painted on the glaze in black and gold. On the flat of the saucer is a medallion with a European landscape with houses along a river in which a manned boat is sailing; in the foreground a man lying on the shore. Possibly decorated in Europe. European representations in encre de Chine.
