About this work

Porcelain cup with a painted cover in blue, red, pink, green, purple, black and gold on the glaze. On the exterior, a cartouche with scrolling foliage containing a European river landscape with several figures, a church and several ships in the background; the outer rim with scrolling foliage in the Meissen style. European subject in enamel colours.
