About this work

Cup and saucer of porcelain, the saucer in the shape of a leaf, painted in underglaze blue. The cup with modeled veins on the outside and painted with four flowering branches; on the bottom a flower branch; the inner and outer side of the rim with a decorative band with hatching. The saucer is divided into compartments by the 'veins' of the leaf, filled with different flowering plants on a rock. Marked on the underside of the saucer with a lotus. Blue and white.
