About this work

Ribbed teapot of porcelain with a straight spout and C-shaped handle, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow and black. On the wall a flower-shaped cartouche with therein different flower branches. On both sides of handle and spout a vertical, narrow compartment with flowers on lacework interrupted by a cartouche with a flower branch. The lid is divided into four compartments with flowering plants, separated by narrow bands with scrollwork. The handle and the spout with flower scrolls. Famille rose.
