About this work

Cup and saucer of porcelain with flaring wall, covered with a reddish-brown glaze and painted on the glaze in red, pink, green, yellow, aubergine and black. The saucer is on the front covered with a brown wood imitation; therein reserved a peony branch with two antiquities (books, ruyi scepter); outside unadorned. Cup with the same decoration only with the wood imitation on the outside, the inside white with on the base a peach. Famille rose.
