About this work

Cup and saucer of porcelain with straight wall, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow and black. On the ground of the saucer a lobed cartouche with flower branches (e.g. peony, chrysanthemum, aster, orchid); on the wall blue enamel with incised lotus scrolls, therein reserved flowers and medallions with flower branches. The cup with the same decoration. A chip and a crack in the rim of the saucer. Famille rose.
