About this work

Bell-shaped cup and saucer of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, turquoise, yellow, pink and gold. On the ground of the saucer a medallion in a triangle with lacework, around it three cartouches with antiquities (fruit bowl with finger lemon, vases with peacock feathers and coral, incense burner, scepter, objects of a scholar etc.) against a background of flower scrolls. The cup with the same decoration. A crack in the rim of the saucer. Famille rose.
