About this work

Bell-shaped cup and saucer of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, black and gold. On the foot of the saucer a medallion with flower branches; around this a decorative band; on the wall lacework in gold alternated with cartouches with flower branches in blue; the rim with lacework in encre alternated with a carved-out lotus tendril in a cartouche. Cup with the same decoration. Encre de Chine.
