About this work

Cup and saucer of porcelain with straight wall, painted on the glaze in blue, pink, green, black and gold. On the ground of the saucer a group of antiquities (vase with peacock feathers and coral, staff with music stone, tripod) and a fruit basket with e.g. pomegranate and finger lemon; the inner rim with lacework alternating with flower branches in cartouches. The cup with the same decoration. Saucer has been broken. Famille rose.
