About this work
Bottle-shaped vase (knobbed bottle) of porcelain with three layers, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. The bottle is covered with bleu poudré (powder blue) with herein cut out two large, lobed compartments filled with prunus or lotus with birds; two fan-shaped compartments with flower branches; between the compartments flower scrolls in gold, between the thickenings decorative bands with geometric motifs, flower scrolls and ruyi motif in gold. A chip in the rim. Bleu poudré with famille verte.
