About this work
Bell-shaped porcelain bowl, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in red, green, aubergine, black and white with rocks and flowers against a background of café-au-lait. The exterior of the bowl with rocks and blooming magnolias and peonies; the interior of the bowl with a single peony. On the underside is the six-character mark of Emperor Chenghua in a double circle in underglaze blue. A chip in the rim. Famille verte with a monochrome brown glaze.
