Covered, ovoid jar with antiquities and flower sprays

Egg-shaped covered pot of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. On the wall four cartouches with scalloped edge filled with antiquities and a fan shape with here in a figure at two towers, between the compartments flower branches; around the foot a decorative band of leaf-shaped points, above that a band with half flower rosettes with scrollwork; around the shoulder a decorative rim with half flower rosettes and one with a ruyi motif. On the lid lobed cartouches with leaf volutes and a medallion with antiquities. Marked on the underside with a diamond in green and black enamel in a double circle. Famille verte.
