About this work

Porcelain candlestick with conical stem with nine ring-shaped thickenings, bell-shaped foot with a ribbed body and a cup-shaped candle holder with ribbed body and lobed rim. Painted in underglaze blue. The ring-shaped knobs with blue bands. The foot and the cup with a continuous river landscape with pavilions, trees, rocks and boats on the water. At the top of the foot a recessed circle where the upper part of the candlestick is placed. The stem has been broken. Blue and white.
