About this work

Low bowl of porcelain with raised center on the bottom and straight wall, painted in underglaze blue. The outside of the bowl with a band incised swastika pattern underneath four times a flower branch (chrysanthemum, lotus, peony, prunus), around the foot a band with ruyi motif; on the bottom around the raised center a band with treasures (pearl, horn), lucky symbols (shell, fish, endless knot), books and coral; on the wall four times a Taoist immortal, Lan Ts'ai Ho (Lan Caihe), with flower basket. Blue and white.
