About this work

Dish of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. On the front three quails. The inner rim with a band of floral scrolls against a light blue background. Herein cut out four times a shaped cartouche with twice a flower branch and twice a happiness symbol. The outer wall with a band with floral scrolls. Marked on the underside with 'fuku', 'happiness', in a double square. Kakiemon in blue and white. Arita.
