About this work
Half-length underkimono (hanjuban) for a man with a pattern of coins on the front and back panels, and on the sleeves images of horses and 20-yen race cards for the 1926–1927 season. The KCR on the cards likely stands for Kyoto Racing Club. Cotton and silk (sleeves) with stencilled yuzen decoration. Lining of white cotton and ivory-coloured silk (sleeves).
