About this work

Bowl of porcelain with a spreading wall, painted in underglaze blue. On the outer wall five mythological figures in a landscape with two deer and two cranes near a pine tree, next to the tree stands a boy. On the base two deer in a landscape with mountains, rocks and a pine tree. The inner rim with damask interrupted by a ruyi motif and lobed cartouches with treasures (coin, diamond, artemisia leaf, music stone). The outer rim with mushrooms (lingzhi) near rocks. Marked on the underside with the six-character mark of Emperor Kangxi in a double circle. Blue-and-white.
