Saucer-dish with incised floral scrolls and a courting couple

Porcelain dish, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black and gold. The front decorated in China with incised floral scrolls, a medallion with lacework and on the inner rim a band with lacework. In Europe decorated with a loving couple in the medallion; the wall divided by floral scrolls into four cartouches each containing a woman, possibly personifications. A crack in the rim. Old label on the underside with 'Tentoonstelling van oude kunst/ Rijksmuseum 1929/ Stodel'. Decorated in Europe.
