About this work

Hexagonal porcelain jug with a pear-shaped body, long S-shaped spout and S-shaped handle, painted in underglaze blue. On the belly flowering plants interrupted by a modeled, lobed cartouche with one modeled and one blue-sunk lotus scroll. The foot, rim, and lid are divided into six compartments with flower branches. Cloud motifs on the spout and handle. Blue and white.
