About this work
Porcelain bottle with a pear-shaped body, C-shaped handle, and curved spout attached to the neck, decorated in underglaze blue. On the belly, two groups of flowering plants with a bird and insects. The shoulder features a decorative band and two flowering branches. The neck has a band with floral scrolls, two flowering branches, and a butterfly. The spout is decorated with floral scrolls and the handle with a leafy branch. A decorative band surrounds the foot ring. There is a hole on top of the handle for a mount. Sandstone on the foot ring; a chip in the rim and in the spout. Arita, blue and white.
