About this work

Porcelain ewer with a pear-shaped body, C-shaped handle, and curved spout connected to the neck at the top, painted in underglaze blue. On the body, neck, and spout, 'karakusa' scrolling vines. A hole for a mount above the handle. Gritty sand on the foot ring. Blue-and-white.
