About this work
Saucer of a bowl with lid of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. Continuous scene of an enclosed terrace with two pairs of women (long-limbed) depicted, and four palm trees and two banana plants. On the reverse side three peach branches. The underside marked with the six-character mark of Emperor Kangxi in a double circle. Blue and white.
