About this work

Bell-shaped porcelain cup with a ribbed wall, painted in underglaze blue. The wall is divided into six compartments with flowering plants (carnation, aster, prunus) with insects or a bird. On the base a scalloped medallion with a flower branch. On the inner wall six separate flower branches. The inner rim with a lotus scroll. The wall has been broken. Blue and white.
