Covered cup and saucer with figures, a go-board and inscriptions

Lidded cup and saucer of porcelain with a stepped wall, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black and gold. On the flat of the saucer a medallion with a sitting man leaning against a vase, next to him three Chinese characters; around the medallion a standing woman and opposite a man with characters on both sides; between them two cartouches, one with meander band and one with bamboo, with an inscription in characters. The cup with the same kind of decoration with other cartouches and persons. The lid with two other persons, one cartouche and a go-board. The lid and saucer marked with the seal mark of Emperor Daoguang (?); the cup with the seal mark of Emperor Xianfeng (?). Crack in the bottom of the saucer and the cup. Famille rose.
