Covered cup and saucer with figures, a go-bord and inscriptions

Lidded cup and saucer of porcelain with a stepped wall, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black and gold. On the flat of the saucer a medallion with a seated man leaning on a stool, next to him three Chinese characters; around the medallion a standing woman and opposite a man with characters on either side; between them a cartouche with meander band with an inscription in characters and a go-board. The cup with the same type of decoration with other cartouches and persons. The lid with two other persons, one cartouche and a go-board. The lid and cup marked with the seal mark of Emperor Daoguang (?); the saucer with the seal mark of Emperor Xianfeng (?). Famille rose.
